About the Role
Partner directly with game developers to help them launch their titles and achieve optimal performance on AMD hardware, utilizing the latest technology as part of a core team of industry specialists.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with game developers to optimize their titles and bring them successfully to market on AMD hardware
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partner game studios
- Apply a data-driven approach to analyzing and improving rendering performance
- Debug and resolve graphics and performance issues spanning game engines, graphics APIs, and the GPU
- Work with AMD's architecture specialists to influence and improve future products
- Stay informed of graphics, gaming, and hardware trends, especially in rendering and GPU architecture
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ programming background with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of modern graphics APIs (Direct3D 12 required; Vulkan a plus)
- Knowledge of rendering techniques, graphics pipelines, and modern game engines (Unreal Engine a strong plus)
- Familiarity with GPU internals, ISA, and GPU profiling/optimization
- Console and other platform development experience a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Native or near-native written and spoken Korean is mandatory as you will be communicating with external customers
