About the Role
This role is central to the team, serving as the first point of contact for members, visitors, and event organizers across all of The Good Golf Company's clubs. You will manage day-to-day member and customer communication from a central office function, liaising with club staff and supporting administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for member and customer enquiries across multiple golf clubs, by phone and email.
- Handle society, group, and event booking requests from first enquiry through to confirmation.
- Support new membership sign-ups, guiding customers through the process end to end.
- Respond to member questions, requests, and complaints promptly, fairly, and with a friendly tone.
- Manage day-to-day correspondence, communication, and general admin for the group.
- Help customers who are less confident with technology, walking them through systems and processes patiently.
- Keep accurate records across our booking, membership, and communication systems.
- Make sure every enquiry gets a timely, clear, and helpful response, and that nothing slips through.
- Work closely with on-site club teams to resolve queries and keep information consistent.
Requirements
- A genuinely friendly, patient, and helpful manner, especially with customers who find technology difficult.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can be clear, warm, and professional over both phone and email.
- A fast learner who picks up new systems and processes quickly and confidently.
- Tech-native, type quickly, and be able to master new tools and systems with ease.
- Well organised, with a good eye for detail and the ability to juggle several enquiries at once.
- Reliable and self-motivated, comfortable working remotely and managing your own day.
- A calm, positive approach to complaints and problem-solving.
- Experience in a customer service, administration, or bookings role.
- Background in a golf club, or in a multi-venue hospitality or membership environment (for example hotels, or a group such as David Lloyd).
- Familiarity with membership, booking, or CRM systems.
