About the Role
As a Customer Experience Associate - Retail Concierge, your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will assist customers, handle transactions efficiently, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and address inquiries to enhance each customer's visit, foster loyalty, and ensure a positive brand perception.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and establish a positive rapport.
- Complete all financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain the balance of the cash drawer and balance receipts at the end of the day.
- Achieve cashier metrics daily.
- Stay informed of in-store promotions and monthly flyers.
- Utilize phone and iPad portals to check inventory, look up orders, and inform customers of order pick-up status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales goals.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a friendly, professional, and service-oriented store environment.
- Stock shelves, racks, hooks, and bins, and price products correctly.
- Assist in the return of merchandise and educate yourself on product returns and warranty plans.
- Listen effectively and offer customers the right help.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Comply with company policies regarding loss prevention and health and safety.
- Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
- Memorize product locations and direct customers.
- Train and supervise new cashiers and retail staff.
- Perform various duties throughout the store as required.
Requirements
- Dynamic with excellent customer service skills.
- Previous cashier experience is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, highly observant, and accurate.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Google applications.
- Possess some mathematical aptitude.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable to change and demonstrate flexibility.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable with some heavy lifting.
