The role involves managing reservation inquiries via phone and email while maintaining accurate records and coordinating bookings to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle reservation inquiries via phone and email according to company standards
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and departments
- Comply with and enforce company work rules and standards of conduct
- Execute reservation department policies and manage daily operations
- Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams for group bookings
- Control suite reservations and ensure special handling for VIPs and return guests
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and selling techniques
- Record and track pick-ups, cancellations, no-shows, and market segments
- Advise management of any deviations in rate applications or arrangements
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent experience
- One to two years of experience in a related position preferred
