About the Role
The Regional Clinical Manager is a leadership role responsible for ensuring providers are well-oriented, engaged, and trained in the company's culture, values, and processes. This role provides training, supports skill development, manages schedules for training needs, and addresses quality and safety concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person orientation for new providers, including culture, quality, and office workflow.
- Ensure timely completion of the Provider Training Program, including running assessments, Bootcamps, skills workshops, lectures, and RESCUE training.
- Engage with low-performing providers to improve clinical performance and involve all providers in ongoing education.
- Support the Regional Operations Director in completing and adjusting provider schedules to match training needs and productivity.
- Collaborate with the regional team to secure backup coverage for last-minute callouts.
- Respond to medically related patient complaints escalated from providers or urgent calls.
- Review safety reports, investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and communicate with central teams.
- Provide feedback to providers as warranted.
- Ensure appropriate provider documentation and collaborate with the Clinical Excellence Team on chart reviews.
- Monitor and coach providers on template usage, proper coding, and resource utilization.
- Review candidate qualifications, conduct on-site interviews, arrange shadowing shifts, and make hiring recommendations.
- Circulate among provider staff at assigned offices on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- Respond to medical escalation consults and/or develop a system for peer-to-peer consults.
- Conduct monthly pNPS reviews and work with bottom providers on action plans.
- Recommend providers in need of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) to the Clinical Excellence Team and Operations Manager.
- Provide training and mentorship related to PIPs.
- Provide backup coverage for Regional Clinical Managers or Regional Medical Officers on PTO.
- Participate in Administrator-On-Call rotation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification
- Licensed in the state where the site is located
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
