About the Role
You will work under the direction of the Production Supervisors in the Manufacturing Department. You will be responsible for all aspects of line operation including Cleaning, Changeovers, Lubrication and Troubleshooting according to an established procedure, at a set pace while adhering to all safety regulations. You will inspect the products and complete required quality checks and necessary forms.
Responsibilities
- Operate machine(s), and keep watch for malfunctions.
- Maintain quality and quantity of product as set by Quality Assurance and packaging Production Standards.
- Inspect product according to production specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage changeovers as necessary, using basic hand tools when necessary as well as cleaning and sanitization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of WHMIS, LOTO, GMP
- Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience, or 2 years of customer service experience, or a relevant manufacturing/technical educational background.
- Competent in the use of machine data and control systems
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
- Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools
- HACCP Trained an asset
