Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute fulfillment strategy to optimize transport, storage capacity and labeling.
  • Provide advice to members on storage and delivery quality.
  • Execute warehouse work to ensure smooth operations while complying with laws and regulations.
  • Implement projects to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
  • Plan and execute projects for efficiency improvement or cost reduction.
  • Optimize relabeling and repackaging operations within global Fulfillment.
  • Create and maintain an environment compliant with internal rules and regulations (GMP, GXP, CQP, PAL, SOX, Waste Management Method, Trade Control Order, etc.).
  • Create and maintain a high-quality and accurate warehouse operation environment (Storage, Loading and Unloading).
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Understand and manage the fulfillment team budget.
  • Lead EHS activities at the Tokyo plant and warehouse.
  • Lead BOS activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of logistics solution design experience and/or logistics operations management in warehousing or transport within the medical industry.
  • Knowledge of business practices and Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
  • Medical and Pharmaceutical industry background.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or EMS (Toyota Kaizen Method).
  • English communication skills to build smooth relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
