About the Role

As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will assist with the control of public health pests, including rats, mice and a variety of insect pests. You will manage your own diary and liaise directly with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with customers.
  • Engage with the public every day, helping to solve infestation problems and limiting the distress caused by pests.
  • Develop good working relationships with customers.
  • Use initiative and training to provide professional advice to assist in the control and management of pest issues.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DBS clearance required.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service experience (advantageous, not essential).
  • Organised.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Safety-conscious.

Work Type

Experience Level

  • No previous experience required; full training provided.

Salary/Compensations

  • £28,000 - £30,532 per annum
