About the Role

MSS Security is recruiting professional and reliable Security Officers to support high-profile client sites across Sydney’s CBD and surrounding areas. This role offers exposure to diverse environments, including roving patrols, control room operations, and access control functions.

Responsibilities

• Conducting internal and external foot patrols (roving roles)
• Monitoring and operating CCTV and control room systems
• Managing access control, including issuing passes and maintaining registers
• Responding to incidents and writing detailed reports
• Providing clear directions and assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors
• Ensuring sites are secured (locking/unlocking as required)
• Maintaining a visible, professional security presence
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and emergency services when required

Requirements

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid NSW Security Licence
• Full working rights in Australia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness to stand and walk for extended periods
