About the Role
This role involves owning the end-to-end performance management system across Operations and Commercial functions, ensuring KPI integrity, performance visibility, root-cause analysis, and corrective action. It is ideal for someone who enjoys redesigning processes using data, automation, and AI, working across various departments to improve decision-making and enable scalable ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Own data integrity for operational KPI data across Operations and Commercial teams.
- Validate data from multiple systems and functional owners before executive review.
- Identify data quality issues and structural gaps.
- Establish governance, validation controls, and standard work for data integrity.
- Serve as the business owner for KPI logic and reporting requirements.
- Translate operational needs into BI and dashboard specifications.
- Validate calculations, data sources, and definitions before automation.
- Ensure reporting drives action, accountability, and decision-making.
- Analyze inventory performance across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Identify drivers of excess, obsolescence, shortages, and instability.
- Translate insights into corrective actions and process improvements.
- Support S&OP governance by ensuring planning data is decision-ready and aligned to KPI targets.
- Immerse in end-to-end operational, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
- Identify inefficiencies, manual work, bottlenecks, and performance gaps.
- Translate findings into measurable business cases.
- Partner with stakeholders to redesign processes for improved productivity, reduced cycle times, and lasting operational improvements.
- Partner with operational and technical teams to translate business challenges into automation and AI solutions.
- Design and implement workflows, automations, and agent-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience improving operational performance within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments.
- Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, manufacturing performance management, supply chain analytics, S&OP support, or operations analytics.
- Ability to break down complex processes, identify root causes, and implement practical improvements.
- Comfortable working with operational data, defining and validating KPIs, and turning information into actionable insights.
- Understanding of KPI governance, inventory management, supply chain flows, S&OP planning, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Hands-on exposure to AI, automation, or low-code technologies.
- Interest in applying AI to solve business problems.
- Ability to think in terms of workflows, systems, and scalable solutions.
- Motivation to see ideas through to execution, measure results, and continuously improve processes.
- Ability to build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
- Ability to communicate fluently between operational teams and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and facilitate productive conversations.
- Ability to help drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
