About the Role
The Business Analyst will join the IT and Digital Services team to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project goals are met through effective requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution validation.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and user stories within agreed timeframes
- Collaborate with technical specialists to create technical specifications
- Maintain standards and guidelines for business process improvement and analysis techniques
- Map and analyze business processes using various tools and methodologies
- Liaise between business stakeholders, Solution Architects, IT teams, and vendors
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input and validate requirements
- Coordinate test strategies and perform UAT to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, including issue resolution and change management
- Create process maps through effective stakeholder relationships
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system specifications and user guides
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of experience in Business Analysis
- Experience with data and reporting projects, finance system implementations, and system integration tools
- High capability to document business requirements and develop business process maps
- Strong problem-solving skills using structured techniques
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in agile ways of working
