About the Role
Drive system-level engineering decisions to enhance image quality, product reliability, and user experience in complex industrial inspection solutions. Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop, integrate, and validate innovative inspection technologies throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage system requirements, including developing requirements with full traceability.
- Refine system architecture across optical, electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
- Conduct system-level trade studies balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Integrate hardware and software components, including imaging pipelines and illumination systems.
- Debug electromechanical behavior, such as articulation mechanisms.
- Manage technical risks related to imaging, illumination, durability, and reliability.
- Execute image quality validation (resolution, noise, lighting performance).
- Conduct reliability testing for harsh industrial environments.
- Analyze and present system performance data.
- Collaborate with EE, ME, Software, Optical, and Manufacturing teams.
- Support NPI programs from concept through release.
- Provide subsystem-level technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive DFMEA and risk reduction activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in product development or system integration.
- Experience with complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of requirements definition, system integration, and V&V methodologies.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Current work authorization in the country of employment.
- Must be located in or near the displayed locations for office-based/hybrid/remote roles.
