About the Role
As part of the Network, Identity, and Security Team, you will support and maintain the corporate network, along with the services and devices that protect it. You will build solutions and solve technical problems, from routine maintenance and fault finding to documentation, training, and incident management. This role involves transitioning ISP providers, troubleshooting routing/switching and WiFi issues, supporting remote access, assisting with new office builds, and developing network standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- Work with ISPs on provisioning new services or troubleshooting issues
- Perform office DR tests
- Day to day operations of the enterprise network
Requirements
- 5+ years working with converged Corporate and Campus networks, with an understanding of routing/switching, WLAN, WAN, security, and telephony
- Solid understanding of network protocols and concepts such as OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSEC, VSS, 802.11(b/g/n)
- Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect)
- Experience supporting large campus network infrastructures
- Network operations expertise, including automation, monitoring, and incident response
- Broad operational knowledge of network and internet security
- Solid understanding of Cisco network tools, including routers and switches, WAPs, WLCs, ASAs, and ISE
- Solid understanding of Juniper infrastructure (SRX Firewalls and Junos Space)
- Documentation skills, such as troubleshooting run-books and as-built documents
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to work with a global, remote workforce
