This role involves developing strategies to drive brand awareness, trust, and growth by leveraging search data, audience insights, and channel experimentation. The manager will own the organic growth engine, collaborating with marketing, product, and content teams to enhance visibility and performance across various channels, including search and AI-powered discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SEO strategy focusing on on-page, off-page, and technical fundamentals, including AEO and GEO frameworks.
  • Conduct keyword and phrasing research alongside competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform content strategy.
  • Ensure all content is built on strong organic fundamentals and optimized for traditional and AI-driven search.
  • Identify and launch non-traditional, non-paid growth channels such as community-led strategies, patient stories, and earned content.
  • Test unconventional ideas, learn quickly, and scale successful strategies using data and creativity.
  • Monitor performance and report on KPIs including rankings, organic traffic, share of voice, and conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on algorithm changes, AI search evolution, and industry trends to maintain an adaptive organic strategy.
  • Experiment with new tools, AI integrations, and automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to test ideas, share feedback, and build agile strategies.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of organic growth marketing experience, ideally with SEO strategy skills, in a DTC, tech, or healthcare environment.
  • Strong SEO foundation with a proven track record of driving organic growth across multiple channels.
  • Growth hacker mindset with the ability to mine data for insights and propose innovative ideas.
  • Demonstrable, owned results with specific outcomes driven.
  • Experience building channels or strategies from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with AEO and GEO frameworks and the impact of AI on organic discovery.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, translate insights into strategies, and communicate results effectively.
  • Natural collaborator who enjoys cross-functional work.
  • Curious, proactive, and self-directed mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Passion for digital health, men's wellness, and making care more accessible is a valuable asset.
