About the Role
As the Senior Personal Banker - Investing, you are the branch expert in helping clients grow their wealth. You deliver personalized, client-focused investment advice and ensure every client leaves with a clear plan to meet their financial goals. By staying current on market trends and TD programs, you provide informed recommendations, proactively connecting clients with the right solutions and specialists. Your success is measured by client feedback, the advice you deliver, the deposit and investment volume you grow, and how well you help clients feel confident in their financial path.
Responsibilities
- Own the client experience and build long-term relationships.
- Help clients grow their money by providing personalized investment advice.
- Identify opportunities to deepen the client relationship by introducing One TD partners for all banking needs including but not limited to investing and lending.
- Build trust and protect clients, colleagues, and the Bank.
- Find ways to simplify processes for colleagues and clients and use your voice to influence change.
- Be committed to your growth & training.
- Strengthen capabilities to ensure you provide elevated advice to our clients.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry managing client relationships, providing financial advice and investment solutions.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in investment products and services, including Mutual funds, GICs, RSP, and market growth.
- In-depth knowledge of RESL, day-to-day banking, and all other TD products and services.
- Client focused mindset while maintaining accountability for responsible, strategic pricing practices & financial outcomes.
- Problem solving and people skills to de-escalate challenging situations and resolve client complaints with empathy and efficiency.
- Strong regulatory, AML, and compliance knowledge to support a culture of integrity.
- Drive to engage in client outreach and community presence to acquire new assets and deepen client relationships.
- The ability to work a rotation across branch hours of operation to ensure we deliver advice when clients need it.
Skills
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent
- Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) - FPI & PFSA, or equivalent
- Financial Planning II (preferred)
