About the Role

Trinity International LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support lawyers across its core practice areas: Financing, Project Development, Corporate, and Disputes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or experienced paralegal to build their career in a dynamic, international law firm environment, working directly with partners and associates on client matters.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare clear, concise research memoranda.
  • Assist with transaction management, including coordinating execution and organizing closing deliverables.
  • Maintain and organize matter files, document management systems, and condition precedent checklists.
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, agents, local counsel, and other external parties.
  • Assist with billing, matter opening, and other administrative tasks.
  • Attend and take notes at internal and client meetings.
  • Support on project finance and infrastructure transactions, including preparation of facility documentation and security packages.
  • Assist with due diligence exercises, including reviewing title, regulatory, and corporate documents.
  • Track conditions precedent and maintain transaction timetables.
  • Prepare transaction summaries and assist with completion logistics.
  • Assist with M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.
  • Prepare board minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney, and company secretarial documents.
  • Conduct company searches and maintain corporate records and data rooms.
  • Support on regulatory filings and KYC/AML compliance processes.
  • Assist with international arbitration and commercial litigation matters.
  • Prepare and organize bundles, chronologies, and document schedules.
  • Conduct document review and assist with disclosure exercises.
  • Research procedural rules, jurisdictional issues, and case law.

Requirements

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) at 2:1 or above, or a non-law degree with the GDL/PGDL.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in commercial law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work under time pressure.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional and personable manner, comfortable working with clients and senior lawyers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • LPC or SQE qualification, or currently working towards qualification (preferred).
  • Previous paralegal or legal work experience, whether in private practice, in-house, or a legal clinic (preferred).
  • Experience of or exposure to finance, infrastructure, or corporate transactions (preferred).
  • Familiarity with document management systems and virtual data rooms (preferred).
  • Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Exceptional candidates without LPC or SQE but with strong relevant experience, commercial awareness, and clear motivation may be considered.

Salary/Compensations
