About the Role
This role involves prospecting, selling, and managing national chain and key accounts, serving as the primary contact and ensuring client satisfaction and company growth.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, sell, and manage national chain and key accounts.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
- Maintain strong client relations through active communication and problem resolution.
- Identify market trends and assess client satisfaction.
- Assist in increasing the company's market share of profitable accounts.
- Develop plans and coordinate the growth of existing national and chain accounts.
- Assist with the acquisition of new national and chain accounts.
- Provide training and marketing materials for team members.
- Ensure all paperwork for assigned clients is completed accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date files on all assigned accounts.
- Inform clients about available value-added services and product/equipment requirements.
- Complete required audits, inspection reports, and summaries for clients.
- Communicate client concerns to appropriate branches the same day received.
- Follow up with branches to ensure client concerns are resolved.
- Record details of client concerns, responses, and assigned team members.
- Inform clients about pertinent incentives, promotions, and educational benefits.
- Assist in the sales process, ensuring presentation materials are complete.
- Contribute as a sales team member when beneficial.
- Assist with collections from assigned clients as requested.
- Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained.
- Attend and participate in seminars and professional conferences.
- Maintain knowledge in the relevant field at all times.
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience required.
- 3 years in a service industry.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility and adaptability.
- Able to use all related hardware and software.
