About the Role
This role requires a strong, sales-savvy individual to drive and manage corporate events across our UK venues. You will be a key member of our venue management team, connecting the dots between sales and the guest experience. The primary focus is to deliver and drive corporate events over +£2.5k, building key relationships and delivering show-stopping events.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through events and achieve KPIs.
- Build and demonstrate conversion on a proactive sales plan.
- Proactively plan and implement corporate outreach strategies.
- Effectively convert leads and prospects into corporate events.
- Collaborate with venue operations to design packages that increase spend per booking.
- Manage and negotiate with events agencies for optimal deals.
- Share revenue numbers and projections with key stakeholders.
- Identify new opportunities for securing larger corporate events.
- Partner closely with General Managers and venue operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with venue teammates.
- Ensure individual guest needs are met and remain attentive.
- Support the execution of large-scale events with a flexible and output-driven approach.
- Secure, plan, and ensure high-quality execution of events including large social gatherings, networking, team building, training, awards, seminars, conferences, and business meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven successful corporate sales events experience.
- Experience driving larger scale events such as conferences and workshops.
- Industry knowledge and hospitality operations.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Passionate about sales and driving revenue.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to cultivate positive relationships.
- Strong attention-to-detail, self-directed initiative, resourcefulness, and drive for innovation.
- Demonstrated proactive commitment in evolving events based on feedback and guidance.
- Flexible working hours and a willingness to get involved.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Positive attitude and tactical mindset with the ability to deal with challenges.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
