About the Role

DataSnipper is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for its New York office. This role is pivotal in managing the full recruitment cycle for both technical and Go-To-Market (GTM) roles across the Americas. You will be the primary tech recruiter for the US and oversee all hiring for Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success in the region. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume environments, brings structure and urgency, and leverages AI tools for efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles (Engineering, Product) in the US, acting as the primary tech TA specialist for the Americas.
  • Own all hiring across the NAM and LATAM regions, for GTM functions including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Manage and execute the full recruitment lifecycle for all roles across your remit - from intake to offer - delivering a fast, high-quality, and candidate-centric experience.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and GTM to shape hiring strategy, calibrate candidate quality, and drive efficient decision-making.
  • Challenge and shape role scopes in partnership with hiring managers, aligning success criteria with market realities and setting up structured, consistent intake processes that set the hiring team up for success.
  • Execute targeted sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse pipelines; leveraging Boolean search, AI, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent networks, and community-based sourcing across the Americas.
  • Drive proactive outreach and headhunting to engage passive talent, using a compelling and personalised approach that reflects the DataSnipper brand.
  • Conduct structured screening and assessment processes, providing clear and data-informed recommendations to hiring teams.
  • Guide candidates through the entire process, ensuring a great experience at every touchpoint.
  • Manage offer negotiations - structuring competitive packages, handling counteroffers, and closing candidates effectively.
  • Contribute to and execute on the talent strategy for tech and GTM hiring in collaboration with the global TA team and key stakeholders, including sourcing channels and interview frameworks.
  • Own hiring outcomes and funnel health across your areas, tracking pipeline quality, conversion rates, time-to-hire, and hiring velocity to drive continuous improvement and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Lead and contribute to TA programs such as referral schemes, talent events, and community initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to build pipeline and strengthen DataSnipper’s presence in the Americas market.
  • Support broader TA team initiatives such as employer branding, process improvement, and interview enablement for hiring managers.
  • Actively contribute to elevating the team’s overall practice, sharing market insights, championing process improvements, and helping shape how we hire at scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on technical recruitment (software engineering, product management, and related functions).
  • Experience recruiting for GTM functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or similar) - you’re comfortable running full-cycle processes across both tech and commercial roles.
  • Solid understanding of engineering disciplines - you can assess technical backgrounds credibly and have effective conversations with engineers and engineering leaders.
  • A strong and active network of technical and GTM talent across the Americas that you can tap into from day one.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally across multiple functions or regions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills - you’re confident and credible when working with hiring managers and leaders at various levels across different business functions.
  • Experience managing offer negotiations and closing candidates in competitive markets, including knowledge of US compensation benchmarks.
  • Organised and structured in your approach - you’re able to manage multiple open roles simultaneously across different functions while keeping quality and candidate experience high.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment where priorities evolve quickly and multiple hiring streams move in parallel. You adjust fast, stay organised, and don’t lose quality under pressure.
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow (e.g. for sourcing, outreach, screening, or process automation) and always looking for smarter ways to work.
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment. You own your funnel metrics, use insights to identify bottlenecks, forecast hiring needs, and advise hiring managers with confidence.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude - you take initiative and get things done without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • You think about how TA works as a function, challenge assumptions, and bring ideas that improve the way we hire.
  • Experience working in a tech scale-up or high-growth SaaS environment is a strong plus.
