About the Role

This role is pivotal in driving the financial and strategic agenda for the UK sales organization, overseeing approximately $1bn NSV P&L. The position combines high-level business partnering, strategic planning, and operational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary finance counterpart to the VP Sales, providing guidance and control to Account Directors and leading a team of 7.
  • Defines and supports the implementation of customer, channel, and retail strategies.
  • Owns all Joint Business Plan (JBP) and price negotiations from the finance perspective.
  • Develops and standardizes methodologies for performance analysis and review.
  • Leads all major sales execution projects.
  • Accountable for implementing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) structures.
  • Oversees key sales routines such as Perfect Quarter, F&D tracker, and JBP reviews.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial competence with a focus on driving excellent financial and commercial performance.
  • Prior experience in Commercial Finance preferred.
  • Solid skills in accessing and using analytical tools.
  • Experience in SAP a benefit.
  • Demonstrates a passion for the consumer and a genuine curiosity for the customer.
  • Ability to bring simple solutions to complex challenges.
  • Always seeking for opportunities to expand the business, create savings, and over-deliver targets.
  • Has a growth mindset and motivates their team.
  • Organized, structured, and has an overview of deliverables.
  • Knows how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within a given timeframe.
