About the Role
This role is pivotal in driving the financial and strategic agenda for the UK sales organization, overseeing approximately $1bn NSV P&L. The position combines high-level business partnering, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the primary finance counterpart to the VP Sales, providing guidance and control to Account Directors and leading a team of 7.
- Defines and supports the implementation of customer, channel, and retail strategies.
- Owns all Joint Business Plan (JBP) and price negotiations from the finance perspective.
- Develops and standardizes methodologies for performance analysis and review.
- Leads all major sales execution projects.
- Accountable for implementing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) structures.
- Oversees key sales routines such as Perfect Quarter, F&D tracker, and JBP reviews.
Requirements
- Strong commercial competence with a focus on driving excellent financial and commercial performance.
- Prior experience in Commercial Finance preferred.
- Solid skills in accessing and using analytical tools.
- Experience in SAP a benefit.
- Demonstrates a passion for the consumer and a genuine curiosity for the customer.
- Ability to bring simple solutions to complex challenges.
- Always seeking for opportunities to expand the business, create savings, and over-deliver targets.
- Has a growth mindset and motivates their team.
- Organized, structured, and has an overview of deliverables.
- Knows how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within a given timeframe.
