About the Role
In this role, you will be the strategic voice behind our ads, social platforms, and customer touchpoints, responsible for crafting, optimizing, and leading our content engine across all outbound marketing channels. You will be the guardian of our brand’s pulse, using your words to drive growth, deepen customer loyalty, and make our brand's vision unmissable. You blend storytelling with conversion psychology, know how to pack a punch into a character limit, and love seeing your words drive actual results. You are interested in the "why" as much as the "what," and you are ready to collaborate with a high-energy team of designers, marketers and project managers to bring our content pillars to life.
Responsibilities
- Leverage strong writing and deep user experience expertise to craft compelling, on-brand, error-free content for outbound marketing channels.
- Interpret and build upon creative briefs to deliver performance-accountable digital ads, brand campaigns, social media posts, videos, emails, blog posts, letters and more.
- Ensure messaging fits its delivery format, channel or stage of the marketing funnel, and incorporates user experience, SEO and accessibility standards.
- Partner closely with graphic designers, video designers, editors, project managers and marketers to facilitate cohesive, deadline-driven work.
- Develop and maintain systems and best practices for content creation, maintenance and repurposing using appropriate tools, frameworks and design systems.
- Interpret business priorities, review metrics from current or previous campaigns, and develop strategies for creative messaging to influence them.
- Present to internal stakeholders, advocate for content strategies and best practices, and anchor recommendations with reasoning.
- Demonstrate knowledge of evolving industry trends and technology, including AI adoption, and adapt creative strategies to leverage them effectively.
- Conduct periodic competitive audits.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in multichannel, customer-facing content creation (copywriting, content strategy, digital marketing, online publishing, UX writing, etc.)
- Proven writing, editing and marketing skills, and outstanding command of English spelling and grammar.
- Experience with CP style and working with company style guides.
- Proficiency with varied content types, whether long-form (e.g. blog posts, press releases) or short-form (e.g. social media copy, banner ads, social posts).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront or comparable work management software.
- Ease with managing multiple projects big and small, while navigating a fluctuating workflow, maintaining copy decks, meeting deadlines and proactively communicating status updates.
- Incredible people skills and ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders (marketing, product, legal).
- Desire to collaborate, incorporate feedback and negotiate when necessary.
- Working knowledge of accessibility, plain language and SEO best practices.
- A willingness to embrace change, adapt strategies on the fly and be open to new ways of working.
