About the Role
ELEMIS is seeking an experienced Global Head of Talent to lead the end-to-end talent strategy, integrating Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Talent Management into a unified global model. This senior leadership role will report to the CPO and drive a shift towards a structured, scalable, and commercially focused talent approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a global talent strategy aligned to business objectives and future workforce needs.
- Create a connected, end-to-end talent framework supporting employees from attraction through succession.
- Build an integrated approach to talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and internal mobility.
- Establish clear global standards and consistency across talent practices, allowing for local flexibility.
- Design and implement an early careers program to convert emerging talent into long-term contributors.
- Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams, fostering a high-performing function.
- Lead global recruitment and attraction strategies, reducing agency reliance and strengthening internal capability.
- Develop ELEMIS' employee value proposition and employer brand strategy.
- Develop diverse talent pipelines and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
- Define and embed consistent, skills-based assessment and selection frameworks.
- Oversee recruitment partners, supplier strategy, talent acquisition technologies, and analytics.
- Design and deliver a structured global learning strategy, including scalable digital learning.
- Design and implement development frameworks, career pathways, and talent initiatives.
- Design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to various leadership levels.
- Launch a robust apprenticeships program utilizing the UK Levy.
- Embed tools and frameworks to improve leadership effectiveness and team performance.
- Ensure learning investment is targeted, impactful, and aligned to priority capability gaps.
- Oversee learning technologies, compliance training, and learning effectiveness.
- Develop robust succession planning and talent management frameworks across all markets.
- Embed frameworks to utilize performance data for identifying and developing high-potential talent.
- Support workforce planning through talent mapping and capability assessments.
- Drive internal mobility and career development opportunities.
- Establish meaningful talent metrics and reporting.
- Use data and external market insights to inform talent decisions and measure impact.
- Improve transparency and oversight of investment across learning, recruitment, and talent initiatives.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver talent solutions supporting organizational growth.
- Work closely with People Partners and Centres of Excellence for a joined-up approach.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to embed talent strategy into business planning.
Requirements
- Combined expertise across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Talent Management within a global (focusing on UK and USA), fast-paced organisation.
- Experience coaching and developing high-performing Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.
- Experience building infrastructure and frameworks from infancy.
- Experience influencing transformation and supporting stakeholders through change.
- Strong project management skills for building and managing the Talent Roadmap.
- Commercial awareness to ensure talent initiatives align with business priorities.
- Ability to build connectivity across the business and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to overcome barriers and remove friction.
- Analytical skills to build and utilize metrics for data-driven decision making.
- Experience within retail, beauty, luxury, or FMCG environments is advantageous.
