About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering complex engineering and infrastructure programmes within a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring quality standards are achieved across major projects, supporting the implementation of robust quality processes and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory and organisational quality requirements.
- Conduct audits, inspections and surveillance activities across projects and suppliers.
- Review and approve quality documentation, procedures and records.
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with engineering, project management and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are fully understood and implemented.
- Support supplier quality assurance activities and performance assessments.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or similar.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as engineering, energy, infrastructure, defence, aerospace, rail, construction or manufacturing.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 and auditing principles.
- Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
- Experience working on large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of supplier quality management and quality planning processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.
- May require willingness to go through Security Clearance.
- Candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
