About the Role

You'll sit at the heart of our Customer function, working with key customers to ensure they understand the value Light brings, driving renewals and upsells. Your customers are senior, technical, and time-poor Financial Controllers, Finance Directors, and CFOs at fast-growing multinational SaaS and tech companies. You will own stakeholder relationships, adoption, and commercial aspects of customer engagement, writing the playbook as we go.

Responsibilities

• Own existing customer relationships and drive adoption, renewal, and upsell.
• Ensure that Controllers, Finance Directors, and CFOs see the value Light brings.
• Make finance the hero by helping them do their best work and get recognition.
• Partner with Agentic Customer Engineers to help customers maximize the use of Light and its AI agents.
• Proactively identify and resolve customer engagement issues.
• Incorporate learnings into the team's developing playbook.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, consulting, or commercial delivery with demonstrable outcomes.
• Ability to confidently discuss multi-entity finance, ROI, and adoption with a CFO, including knowing when to push back.
• Proven track record of driving adoption and expansion, not just maintaining accounts.
• Skill in bringing structure to ambiguous engagements through clear plans, prioritization, and judgment.
• Experience owning accounts and driving specific outcomes.
• Daily use of AI tools with informed opinions on their application.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Experience in a forward-deployed, solutions-led, or professional-services model focused on renewals and upsell, ideally with AI.
• Ability to give concrete examples of successfully telling a senior customer 'no'.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a drive for change over maintenance.
