About the Role

We are seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright to join our pork processing facility in Burlington. This role focuses on maintaining plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and adhering to strict safety and GMP standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain all mechanical plant equipment
• Perform PMs, PDMs, CM, and regular work orders
• Multitask and prioritize workload
• Repair and maintain conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging equipment, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform TIG welding
• Execute repairs and troubleshooting
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Install new equipment
• Follow GMP and GMP for Maintenance rules
• Execute oral or printed work requests and apply corrective actions
• Manage inventory and labor tracking via a computerized maintenance program

Requirements

• Valid 433A Millwright license
• Experience as a Millwright
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended hours
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to work in extreme heat or cold
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Proficiency in English communication
• Must possess own tools
