About the Role
The Fairmont Gold Pantry Attendant is responsible for engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and ensuring a seamless food and beverage experience within the Fairmont Gold and Deloitte Lounges. This role involves meticulous preparation, service, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Report for duty on time with a professional appearance and appropriate uniform.
- Engage with guests to understand their stay purpose and food/beverage preferences.
- Acknowledge guests by name and honor their unique preferences and requests.
- Execute full-cycle food & beverage mise en place preparations, setup, and service.
- Welcome and offer assistance to guests utilizing the lounge.
- Assist with the replenishment of food and beverage offerings in the lounges.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables, and replenishing flatware, crockery, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness of all food & beverage preparation areas.
- Adhere to food sanitation and safety standards.
- Oversee and ensure the quality and appearance of culinary presentations and pantry areas.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
- Actively participate in ongoing development, service enhancements, and training.
- Adhere to the hotel's social media and confidentiality policies.
Requirements
- Service-oriented individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Smart Serve certification required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous luxury level service knowledge and training is an asset.
- College diploma or University degree from a Hospitality related program is an asset.
- Additional language is a definite asset.
- Ability to lift at least 60lbs.
