About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Team in Berlin on major Data Centre construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.
- Manage substation projects (mid-voltage).
- Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
- Analyze, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
- Run and lead client and other required meetings.
- Identify the factors that influence construction costs and can monitor and report on this data.
- Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
- Review requests for payment.
- Record occurrence that might result in a claim - acting on the client’s behalf.
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
Requirements
- A construction related academic qualification /degree (e.g. construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture).
- Min. 4 years of working experiences in project management for construction projects; experiences in Data Centre constructions preferred.
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
- Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.
- Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
- Fluent in English, min. B2 German level.
- Available for 3-5 days working from construction site.
