About the Role

As a working student in IT, you will contribute to the digitalization efforts of CORRECTIV, a non-profit media house focused on strengthening democracy through journalism, media education, and open technologies. You will help select and procure technical equipment, manage technical onboarding and offboarding, provide IT support, and document processes. This role offers the opportunity to develop digital collaboration tools and processes within a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing various digitalization measures.
Select and procure technical equipment.
Provide technical onboarding/offboarding and IT support.
Maintain sustainable process documentation.
Collaborate with system administrators to ensure robust and secure collaborations.

Requirements

Currently studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT field.
Experience with desktop and mobile support in the Apple ecosystem.
Knowledge of digital collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Apps, Nextcloud).
High service orientation and enjoyment in assisting with technical problems.
Enthusiasm for the joint further development of a non-profit organization in the digitalization sector.
Identification with the values and goals of CORRECTIV.
