About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale technology implementation initiatives within the Public Sector client. The successful candidate will play a critical role in business requirements elicitation, process design, testing coordination, and stakeholder engagement across complex enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate design workshops with stakeholders and project teams
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
- Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Translate requirements into tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) for testing and traceability
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and execute testing activities
- Coordinate defect triage, test execution, and results reporting
- Report on testing status, risks, and issues
- Support process improvement initiatives and business transformation efforts
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis and requirements elicitation
- Minimum 10 years of experience facilitating stakeholder workshops
- Minimum 10 years of experience documenting business workflows and system processes
- Experience designing "as-is" and "to-be" processes using BPMN
- Strong experience in large-scale IT solution implementation (analysis, design, testing, rollout)
- Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (v7/v8/v9) and Maximo Application Suite
- Experience in asset management systems (preventative maintenance, work orders, vendor management, etc.)
- Experience in QA/testing including UAT coordination and test planning
- Familiarity with tools such as HP ALM (asset)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, data modeling, business intelligence, and enterprise IT environments
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
