About the Role
We are building real-time prediction systems for competitive esports (CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends) to power live betting markets. This role involves leading the research, design, and continuous improvement of core predictive models, focusing on the mathematical and statistical aspects for accuracy and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning models and statistical frameworks for real-time odds and betting markets.
- Extract predictive signals from high-frequency esports telemetry and engineer features for modeling.
- Focus on model performance and probability calibration, designing rigorous backtesting frameworks.
- Create mathematical rules and probabilistic derivations for complex derivative markets.
- Ensure models are translated into production-grade pipelines and microservices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, quantitative research, or statistical modelling.
- Deep, intuitive understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning theory.
- Expert-level skills in the Python data stack, writing clean, production-grade code.
- Proven experience designing complex backtesting environments and defining custom evaluation metrics.
