About the Role
Own and drive the global strategy for converting prospective customers into first-time buyers, leading a unified global organization across 18 markets with accountability for lead-to-first-order conversion performance at scale. Lead a team of marketing professionals in a global distributed footprint, bringing deep expertise in prospect lifecycle and conversion marketing, familiarity with various channels, a strong quantitative foundation, and proven ability to mobilize cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the global Leads & Prospects strategy across 18 markets and multiple brands, with full accountability for lead-to-first-order conversion volume and quality.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive prospect lifecycle strategy, including journey mapping, acquisition and nurture roadmap design, and data-driven segmentation and personalization frameworks.
- Lead multi-channel execution across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, and In-App, maintaining ongoing testing, segmentation, triggered campaigns, and personalization.
- Build and standardize global Leads & Prospects frameworks, driving cross-market knowledge sharing and aligning playbooks worldwide.
- Challenge the status quo to build new processes and test innovative ideas, including AI and ML-driven tools for send-decisioning, next-best-action models, generative AI for creative execution, and dynamic content.
- Improve the quantity and quality of lead-to-customer conversions globally, balancing conversion volume with pipeline quality and CAC efficiency.
- Define the global experimentation roadmap across channels and markets, including A/B and multivariate testing programs.
- Serve as the primary Leads & Prospects strategy owner in leadership WBRs, presenting directly to CMOs and VPs and driving commercial accountability across markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Paid Marketing, CommsTech, Product, Analytics, Creative, Brand, and CRM Ops to align prospect initiatives with overall business goals.
- Advocate proactively for Martech and infrastructure investments needed to scale the Leads & Prospects function.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative prospect data into insights to manage KPIs and identify opportunities for growth and performance improvement across all markets.
- Hire, train, and mentor a world-class, high-performing global team and flexibly leverage top-notch external partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in prospect lifecycle marketing, CRM, mobile channels, and generative AI in marketing contexts.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills to develop outstanding marketing talent across a global, multi-site team.
- Strong ability to influence key stakeholders including CMOs and VPs, as well as work cross-functionally and autonomously.
- Skillful at working with other functions including CommsTech, Analytics, Creative, Product, and Brand to ideate and prioritize initiatives.
- Ability to break complex, unstructured problems down into components of impact, prioritize accordingly, and derive quantifiable action items.
- Deep expertise in prospect lifecycle and CRM marketing, with a strong quantitative foundation and hands-on experience managing multi-channel direct marketing programs across global markets.
- Proven mobile channel expertise, with hands-on experience across SMS, WhatsApp, Push Notifications, and In-App messaging, and a strong command of opt-in growth strategies and compliance across international markets.
- Strong understanding of prospective customer behavior and segmentation, with a sharp focus on driving conversion rate and pipeline quality alongside volume.
- Familiarity with generative AI in marketing contexts and experience partnering with Creative and Brand teams to develop high-quality, scalable CRM communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate and share work with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and analytical environment; able to make high-stakes decisions with incomplete data.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of energy and an unrelenting drive to succeed.
- Bias for action — a ‘getting things done’ mentality that generates immediate impact.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a quantitative or marketing field.
- 10+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or digital marketing, with a strong track record in scaling prospect/lead nurture programs, preferably in Direct-to-Consumer or subscription-based companies.
- Demonstrated mobile channel expertise, including hands-on experience with SMS, Push Notifications, WhatsApp, or in-app messaging campaigns at scale.
- Leadership experience within global growth marketing organizations, with strong expertise in prospect lifecycle marketing and channel strategy.
- Experience managing multi-market or global scope, with the ability to build frameworks that scale across markets and geographies.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Hightouch, Adobe), data tools (e.g. SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau), and CDP tools for segmentation, personalization, machine learning, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of KPI tracking and reporting; ability to translate analytics into actionable insights, and design and manage A/B and multivariate test-and-learn programs.
- Experience collaborating with Product and UX teams to enhance customer journeys and CRM functionality.
- Ideally, experience or knowledge in cross-channel journey orchestration, UX, and digital optimization.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from conceptualization to completion.
