About the Role

ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. has an immediate opening for an Operations Supervisor at the JFK International Airport in Jamaica, NY. ACTS Security Agents are proud of their role in aviation security and have the opportunity for advancement – the ideal place to build a career in aviation security.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to ACTS Leads and Security Agents in daily activities.
• Assist in scheduling and assigning Security Agents to ensure proper coverage.
• Serve as a liaison for local Airline Customers, Host Catering units, and TSA or other Government Authorities.
• Ensure and maintain all security-related records as indicated by local Airline Customers, TSA, and other Government Authorities.
• Perform regularly scheduled documented audits of employee work performance, including video reviews.
• Ensure all Government, Customer, Airlines, and local requirements are met.
• Report all daily, weekly, and monthly activities to management.
• Conduct and ensure all training and orientation are provided to employees.
• Work with Regional HR Manager to recruit, hire, and retain high-quality Security Agents.
• Discipline Agents as necessary.
• Maintain all provisions, regulations, procedures, and processes in the current collective bargaining agreement.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in Airport Management Experience (Not aviation).
• Knowledge of airline and Catering Security regulations.
• Must be a US Citizen.
