About the Role

As an IT Project Manager in the SAP environment, you will manage and drive projects, maintain an overview of multiple tasks and projects, and focus on the people involved. This role is suitable even for entry-level professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, steer, and monitor SAP projects in intralogistics, including module introductions, product projects, and expansions of existing SAP landscapes (e.g., SAP EWM).
  • Act as the direct customer contact for clearly defined project topics, supported by experienced colleagues.
  • Assist with tracking budget and resources throughout the project lifecycle, learning to identify and communicate deviations early.
  • Gradually take over the coordination of project teams, adapting flexibly to project size (from 100 to 2,500 project days).
  • Contribute to the development of our project management methodology and integrate best practices from your projects into shared structures.
  • Prepare customer workshops and internal/external coordination meetings, and increasingly moderate them yourself.
  • Utilize PM tools like Jira and Confluence, as well as AI-based applications, to ensure a clean and transparent project overview.

Requirements

  • Completed degree (e.g., Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification, ideally with initial exposure to project work or IT topics.
  • Ability to structure and process unclear requirements into clear work packages and responsibilities, ensuring completion.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex issues to customers and project teams.
  • Initial experience with budget or resource planning is a plus.
  • Commitment to completing tasks and attention to detail, with timely resolution of open points and thorough tracking.
  • Native-level German language skills and fluent English (B2/C1) for negotiations.
  • First experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) or PM tools like Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus but not required.
