Responsibilities

• Conduct site and potential analyses for wind, PV, and BESS projects, considering technical, regulatory, ecological, and economic criteria.
• Create and develop GIS analyses, maps, and geodata to support project development, land acquisition, and permitting processes.
• Perform geospatial due diligence analyses for M&A transactions, identifying and evaluating opportunities, risks, and development potential.
• Develop, automate, and optimize GIS workflows, ensuring high data quality and efficient geodata processes.
• Advise interdisciplinary teams through sound spatial analyses and provide reliable decision-making bases for project development and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Renewable Energies, Environmental Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience and sound knowledge in GIS, AEP calculations, and site assessments within the project development of wind, PV, or BESS projects.
• Proficient in GIS applications and ideally experience with WindPro, OpenWind, or comparable software solutions.
• Sound knowledge of planning and approval law and a good understanding of regulatory requirements in the renewable energy sector.
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
