About the Role

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to a delightful child and support them to reach their full potential. Carers will work alongside nurses supporting the child with a variety of clinical interventions, including TPN feeding, monitoring nebulisers and ventilation equipment, respiration and oxygen saturation support, suctioning, medication administration via JEJ, and personal care.

Responsibilities

  • Support a child with TPN feeding.
  • Monitor nebulisers and ventilation equipment.
  • Support with respiration and oxygen saturation.
  • Perform suctioning.
  • Administer medication via JEJ.
  • Provide personal care.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a complex care setting.
  • Experience with PEJ.
  • Experience with Ventilation Support (Stellar 150 Knowledge In Particular).
  • Experience administering medication.
  • Experience using suction machines (Cough assist & nebulisers).
  • Experience with specialist moving and handling (Hoist & wheelchair).
  • Experience with colostomy care.
