As an Lunchtime Assistant, you'll provide exceptional care, contribute to health and safety practices, and collaborate with our dynamic senior leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm
- Deliver exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs
- Fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries
- Create enriching environments filled with engaging activities to foster indoor and outdoor growth
- Ensure a holistic education experience guided by British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage learning
- Adhere to child protection and health and safety policies, safeguarding children's well-being
Requirements
- Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes
- Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication
- Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications
- Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making
- Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training
- Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies
- Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment
- Role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future
- Job offer is subject to a DBS check
