About the Role

As an Accountant, you will play a key part in Accounts Payable operations and help shape the future of the finance department. You will work at the intersection of accounting and innovation, contributing to the development of efficient, digital finance processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Recording and verifying incoming invoices
• Posting invoices in the ERP system 'Odoo'
• Managing payment runs
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Clarifying open items
• Ensuring consistency between general and sub-ledgers
• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Creating statistical reports
• Taking responsibility for finance projects focused on digitalization, process automation, and system optimization
• Working closely with the IT team to drive cross-departmental improvements

Requirements

• Completed training in accounting (e.g. as a tax clerk) or a degree in business administration
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on accounts payable
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)
• Confident use of MS Excel
• A structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
• A desire to actively shape and improve accounting processes
• Strong interest in digitalization and automation
• Very Good German skills (at least B1)
• Solid English (C1) skills
