About the Role

As an external Information Security Consultant, you will support clients, primarily in the housing and real estate industry, with the practical implementation of requirements from established security standards and regulatory guidelines. You will work in full or part-time at our locations in Potsdam, Berlin, or Dresden.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the role of Information Security Officer (ISB) and assist with the setup and operation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Implement requirements from standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 ff., BSI-Grundschutz, NIS2, and DORA, as well as other industry-specific requirements, together with clients.
• Conduct risk analyses, protection needs assessments, and security evaluations with clients.
• Create and review security policies, emergency concepts, and organizational measures, and support audits and certifications.
• Analyze security-related incidents and derive appropriate measures with clients.
• Plan and conduct training and awareness measures in information security.
• Advise on technical and organizational security measures (TOM).
• Continuously develop the consulting portfolio in information security together with the team.

Requirements

• Possess well-founded and demonstrable knowledge in information security or already work as an Information Security Consultant.
• Have experience with standards such as ISO/IEC 2700x and BSI-Grundschutz, preferably also with MaRisk and DORA.
• Have a strong affinity for IT and a good understanding of technical and organizational security measures.
• Demonstrate conceptual thinking, strong communication skills, and team spirit.
• Be willing to support clients on-site.
• Possess very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
