About the Role
As a Business Development professional in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment division, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs, researching market trends, leading technical sales negotiations, expanding sales of ZEISS EUV and new product lines, and supporting customer applications. You will also play a key role in educating local engineers, building networks with key customers, and collaborating with HQ product managers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and articulate customer needs and challenges.
- Research market and customer trends, including competitors and equipment vendors.
- Lead technical sales negotiations with customers.
- Expand sales of ZEISS EUV products and new product lines.
- Lead Technology Roadmap Meetings, demos, collaborations, and joint paper publications.
- Provide application support to customers.
- Participate in HQ technical meetings and relay customer feedback.
- Educate and develop local engineers in application areas.
- Build and strengthen networks with key SMT customers.
- Attend various conferences (e.g., PMJ, BACUS).
- Collaborate with HQ product managers.
- Report to the BD Manager.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry (wafer fab, equipment, Photo mask, etc.).
- Over 3 years of product development experience.
- Proactively lead technical discussions with internal teams and customers.
- Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (reading/writing emails, conference calls, discussions).
- Ability to build networks with key industry figures.
- Skill in creating technical documentation (reports, presentation materials).

Salary/Compensations
- ¥6,000,000 - ¥10,000,000 + (including bonuses and various allowances, depending on skills and experience)
- Monthly salary: ¥400,000 - ¥650,000 +
