About the Role

Support WesternUnion.com consumers in Japan with their digital identity verification process as part of the Know Your Customer (KYC) program. Provide email and phone support, identify process improvements, and meet performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support WesternUnion.com consumers in Japan with their digital identity verification process.
• Provide email and phone support to consumers with the digital identity verification process.
• Look for ways of improving customer experience and make recommendations on potential process improvements.
• Multitask using multiple tools and work independently.
• Meet strict deadlines and consistently meet performance metrics.
• Grasp new concepts and integrate quickly to deliver significant quantifiable results.

Requirements

• High school degree required; college degree is a plus.
• Able to read Japanese kanji characters and fluent in speaking Japanese (N1- Native).
• English proficiency (verbal, written and listening).
• Burmese proficiency (verbal, written and listening).
• Customer centric approach.
• Schedule flexibility (ideal).
• Ability to multi-task and to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Additional language(s) proficiency: Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese or Bahasa (Preferred).
