About the Role
In this role, you will directly support the Team Lead Finance, working on critical finance topics. You will gain deep insights into the management of a corporate group and actively participate in daily business with a hands-on mentality.
Responsibilities
- Support weekly finance checks, monthly financial position statements, and ongoing liquidity monitoring.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of reports (bank, advisory board, fund, ESG) and learn professional bank and investor reporting.
- Accompany annual financial statements of individual companies and audits, assisting in document compilation.
- Participate in budget creation, forecasts, and financial modeling, building reliable Excel analyses.
- Help make existing finance processes more efficient using modern tools and AI.
- Direct collaboration with the Team Lead Finance and management.
Requirements
- Studying business administration, economics, finance, controlling, or a similar field, ideally with first master's semesters completed.
- For working student positions, enrollment is required.
- Proficient in Excel with a focus on clean data preparation.
- Experience with AI models like Claude, Gemini, or similar, and experimenting with prompts and AI agents for data analysis or process automation is a significant plus.
- Fluent in German (C1/C2) and possess English language skills.
- Reliable and deadline-conscious, working in a structured manner.
- Eager to learn and flexible, thinking outside the box and seeking professional development.
- Proactive attitude, not shying away from operational details and seeking the smartest, most modern solution.
