  • Manage electronic subsystems such as motor and actuator drives, sensor and camera interfaces, and power supplies.
  • Perform bench debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab instruments.
  • Oversee electronic system integration including cabling, harnesses, power distribution, and interconnects.
  • Ensure reliable integration between electronics, optics, mechanics, and compute platforms.
  • Collaborate with embedded firmware teams to ensure hardware compatibility.
  • Prototype and validate new electronic architectures for future platform versions.
  • Balance trade-offs between performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Design for manufacturing and testability (DFM/DFT) to support series production.
  • Drive EMC and CE compliance and contribute to machine safety standards.
  • Develop test fixtures, procedures, and documentation for scalable production.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in electronics engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience designing electronic hardware for real-world products.
  • Strong PCB design skills including schematic, layout, and bring-up.
  • Solid understanding of STM32 and embedded-system constraints.
