About the Role

As our Operational Governance Change Delivery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening operational resilience and regulatory compliance across AMP's Investments business. Working at the intersection of operations, risk, governance and change delivery, you'll lead complex business-critical initiatives that help AMP adapt to evolving regulatory requirements while improving operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the interpretation and implementation of regulatory and policy changes impacting AMP Investments, with an initial focus on APRA's CPS 230 Operational Risk Management requirements
  • Translate complex regulatory obligations into clear operational requirements, ensuring business processes, controls and governance frameworks remain effective and compliant
  • Drive end-to-end change delivery, including impact assessments, implementation planning, dependency management and risk assessments
  • Partner with Investment Operations leaders and key stakeholders to embed sustainable process and control improvements across the business
  • Strengthen operational resilience through enhanced Material Service Provider governance, business continuity arrangements and reporting obligations
  • Monitor implementation progress, resolve issues and prepare governance papers, risk assessments and executive-level reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums
  • Influence and collaborate across a broad stakeholder network to deliver outcomes that protect member interests and support AMP's strategic objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience within financial services in investment operations, risk, compliance, project delivery or a related discipline
  • Strong project and change management capability, with experience delivering complex regulatory or operational change initiatives
  • A solid understanding of investment or wealth management operations and end-to-end operational processes
  • Exposure to key investment operations functions such as custody, fund administration, unit pricing and third-party service provider management
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks, operational risk management practices and APRA prudential standards, particularly CPS 230
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and implement practical solutions
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present complex information clearly and persuasively
  • Adaptability from BAU to ambiguity
