About the Role
Lead the effective delivery of ICT projects within agreed timeframes, budget, quality standards, and resource requirements for a large NSW Government organisation.
Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, procurement, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
- Support effective service delivery.
- Manage operational issues.
- Ensure project outcomes align with organisational objectives and governance requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules.
- Manage project scope and apply appropriate scope controls.
- Identify, analyse, and manage project costs.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets, cash flow, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate project resources, stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage project risks, issues, change controls, reporting, and governance requirements.
- Support procurement and contract management activities, including monitoring vendor deliverables.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing ICT projects within complex organisations.
- Strong project governance, reporting, scheduling, budget, and risk management experience.
- Experience managing vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
- Previous NSW Government, NSW Health, eHealth, or HealthShare experience will be highly regarded.
