About the Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer in the Platform Team, you will design, build, and maintain common digital capabilities and internal tools used across multiple teams within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain platform products, internal tools, and shared services.
- Build frontend experiences for internal applications, developer portals, and operational dashboards.
- Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation components.
- Create and maintain reusable libraries, components, standards, and patterns.
- Collaborate with architects to produce scalable, secure, and supportable solution designs.
- Support the design and implementation of integration patterns across internal and third-party systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery tooling.
- Champion testing practices including unit, integration, and automated regression testing.
- Improve developer experience by identifying friction points in engineering workflows.
- Support platform observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in incident triage, release support, and production issue resolution.
- Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to technical documentation, support runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering practice uplift.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, risk, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to simplify architecture and reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in full-stack software engineering.
- Proven expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong frontend development experience using Angular or React.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Solid mobile development capability using Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Git-based CI/CD pipelines and build tooling like Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of automated testing practices using tools like JUnit or Playwright.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Understanding of secure software development and authentication patterns like OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Jira and Confluence.
