About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer in the Platform Team, you will design, build, and maintain common digital capabilities and internal tools used across multiple teams within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain platform products, internal tools, and shared services.
  • Build frontend experiences for internal applications, developer portals, and operational dashboards.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation components.
  • Create and maintain reusable libraries, components, standards, and patterns.
  • Collaborate with architects to produce scalable, secure, and supportable solution designs.
  • Support the design and implementation of integration patterns across internal and third-party systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery tooling.
  • Champion testing practices including unit, integration, and automated regression testing.
  • Improve developer experience by identifying friction points in engineering workflows.
  • Support platform observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in incident triage, release support, and production issue resolution.
  • Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, support runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering practice uplift.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, risk, and governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify architecture and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience in full-stack software engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
  • Strong frontend development experience using Angular or React.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Solid mobile development capability using Swift and Kotlin.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Git-based CI/CD pipelines and build tooling like Maven or Gradle.
  • Understanding of automated testing practices using tools like JUnit or Playwright.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Understanding of secure software development and authentication patterns like OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Jira and Confluence.
