About the Role

As the Service Commercial Manager, ANZ, you will lead the Australia and New Zealand Remote Sales team with accountability for driving service revenue growth, expanding market penetration, and strengthening customer partnerships across the region. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the ANZ service commercial strategy, leading a high-performing remote sales organization, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver customer-focused service solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the ANZ service commercial strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across existing accounts, new customers, and emerging service segments.
  • Analyze customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive activity to refine commercial priorities and sales approaches.
  • Build and implement business plans that support long-term service growth across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the ANZ remote service sales team to deliver strong commercial results and a consistent customer experience.
  • Set clear goals, performance expectations, and operating rhythms aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
  • Support capability development through coaching, training, and ongoing performance management.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support service growth and retention.
  • Lead strategic customer engagements, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through strong account management and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Act as a trusted commercial partner for customers by aligning service offerings to their operational and clinical needs.
  • Drive service adoption and revenue growth across the ANZ region through focused commercial execution.
  • Partner with marketing, product sales, and service teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for service offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service penetration, contract coverage, renewal rates, and attach rates.
  • Support the introduction of new service offerings by translating market needs into actionable commercial plans.
  • Monitor and report on key commercial metrics including revenue, attach rates, renewal performance, pipeline health, and market share.
  • Use CRM systems, forecasting tools, and sales analytics to drive decision-making and improve execution.
  • Review business performance regularly and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Ensure sales processes, reporting, and opportunity management are disciplined and effective.
  • Develop and manage channel partner relationships to expand service reach and accelerate growth across ANZ.
  • Build joint business plans with partners, including revenue goals, performance expectations, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard new partners aligned with strategic business priorities.
  • Monitor partner performance and implement actions to improve effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Work closely with product sales, service operations, marketing, and other internal teams to align commercial execution with customer expectations and business priorities.
  • Share ANZ market insights to inform service innovation, commercial planning, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Partner with regional and global teams to exchange best practices and ensure alignment with broader service growth objectives.
  • Support a seamless customer experience across the full commercial and service lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of commercial or sales leadership experience, with significant experience in service sales.
  • Proven success leading high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth in ANZ.
  • Strong understanding of the ANZ market, customer landscape, and channel environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that grow service revenue and market share.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand as needed.
