About the Role

The Analyst, Operations Specialist SP&F provides operational support for client relationships, managing activities such as grantmaking, contract administration, and expense reimbursements. This role involves expertise in RPA's internal systems and processes, training staff, and suggesting system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage grantmaking review processes, share funding requirements, and ensure timely responses to clients and potential grantees.
  • Utilize internal grantmaking system for client communication and tracking, including proposals, due diligence, award letters, grant agreements, and process monitoring.
  • Guide and support the resolution of project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating where appropriate.
  • Develop, agree on, and execute solutions to overcome project challenges.
  • Organize and prepare complex documents using various applications and gather/summarize data for special reports.
  • Ensure effective tracking and approval of project expenses, provide system training, and connect sponsored project staff to resources.
  • Resolve administrative issues with appropriate internal partners.
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure timely response to all inquiries.
  • Ensure trust and credibility among project partners for strong and accurate service delivery.
  • Lead inquiries and requests for Sponsored Projects and participate in problem-solving.
  • Continuously review existing operations and suggest/implement innovations for client needs and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and administer contracts for Sponsored Projects utilizing RPA templates and systems.
  • Escalate complex contracts to Grants Management and/or Legal as required.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience in operations, office support, and client service (5-7 years).
  • Experience with project management and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, including grantmaking or nonprofit operations.
  • Experience with CRM and comfort in learning new technologies.
  • Some travel may be required.
