About the Role
Valmont impacts millions of people globally by advancing agricultural productivity and reimagining vital infrastructure. We are seeking a Manager, Operations Finance to partner with our APAC operational and manufacturing leadership team, providing financial insights to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Deliver insights to the management team through analysis, modeling, and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Own the preparation and submittal of significant Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) requests, providing financial analysis and justification.
- Build a capital management/monitoring program for all CAPEX, including forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plan inputs.
- Develop process improvements to drive working capital enhancements, particularly in inventory.
- Perform financial performance reviews with the management team, focusing on operational activity, variances, working capital, and capex.
- Develop a reporting framework for consistent operational metrics across APAC.
- Identify key financial risks and opportunities and develop countermeasures and action plans.
Requirements
- Experienced operation, commercial, or financial analyst with manufacturing or operational environment experience.
- Strong communicator with a passion for process improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organization while managing competing priorities.
- Proficiency in financial software, databases, and analytical tools.
- Ability to consolidate, analyze, and report financial and operational metrics accurately and timely.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region.
