About the Role
The Engineer will manage electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance within a warehouse environment, reporting to site leadership while maintaining a strong focus on safety and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical strip-down, re-assembly, field wiring, machine calibration, and system testing
- Maintain site MHE to a high standard
- Manage time via CMMS to achieve over 90% utilization
- Continuously improve equipment and maintain health and safety standards
- Complete reactive repairs within established timeframes
- Communicate repair and maintenance progress to on-site management
- Service and repair installed products with hands-on ownership
- Interpret electrical circuit diagrams and work with up to 415V circuits
- Conduct risk assessments and promote a strong safety culture
- Read assembly drawings and operate hand tools for equipment assembly
- Follow setup instructions and checklists
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience with electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance in a warehouse environment
- NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Understanding of PLC function
- Computer literacy with basic Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using CMMS and engineering stores
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements
- Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills

Education Level
- NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline
