About the Role
Oversee the delivery of facilities management services across a high-profile portfolio, ensuring the safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective operation of building services with a focus on technical maintenance, contractor management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the portfolio.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to standard.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory, legislative, and company requirements.
- Monitor building performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost control.
- Conduct site inspections and manage any risks, defects, or maintenance issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support minor projects, upgrades, and lifecycle works as required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, compliance documentation, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Technical Facilities Management, or building services.
- Strong technical understanding across areas such as HVAC, electrical, fire, hydraulics, lifts, and general building maintenance.
- Experience managing contractors and planned/reactive maintenance programs.
- Strong knowledge of WHS, risk, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and administrative capability, including budgets, invoicing, and reporting.
